Kaitek is an ordinary boy who likes listening to stories, escaping into fantasy worlds and often imagines what it would be like if he had superpowers.

After his mom dies, he is left to live with his grandma and dad and one day he discovers that he has magical powers. A family film directed by Magdalena Lazarkiewicz, based on a 100-year-old novel by Janusz Korczak, made in a Czech-Polish-Slovak co-production.  

Young Polish actor Eryk Biedunkiewicz makes his debut in the lead role, with Martin Hofmann as the dark magician.

Seventeen-year-old Ola travels from Poland to Ireland, where her father tragically died while working on a construction site. Her mother gives her the euros she has saved and a daunting task. A coming-of-age road movie with no shortage of drama, sensitivity or humour. Director Domalewski once again takes on the theme of Polish labour migration, his previous film Silent Night (2017) screened at BFF 2018.

Pojďte se s námi skrze filmové plátno ponořit do světa velikánů vážné hudby! Uslyšíte skladby polských skladatelů Chopina, Moniuszka, ale také Mozarta, Bizeta nebo Rimského-Korsakova ve vizuálně působivých animovaných videoklipech, které vytvořili animátoři z poznaňského Televizního studia animovaných filmů. Autorsky originální propojení hudby a animace si získalo diváky a desítky ocenění na polských i mezinárodních festivalech.

V animační dílně si děti budou moci vytvořit a pomocí kamery rozpohybovat papírové loutky, které si samy vytvoří pomocí pohyblivých kloubů. Dílna navazuje na pásmo animovaných videoklipů a je vhodná pro děti od 5 let. S menšími dětmi se mohou účastnit rodiče. Kapacita dílny je omezena na 15/30 dětí, doporučujeme vstupenky pořídit předem.

Lektorka MgA. Alexandra Griz se věnuje autorské ilustraci i volné tvorbě. Tvoří autorské knihy, ráda vymýšlí a animuje příběhy.

A visually sophisticated film, reminiscent of Pedro Almodóvar’s films in its colour and atmosphere, and of Roy Andersson’s work in its absurd irony. The protagonist, Maria, copes with menopause in her own way, surrounded by many statues of the Virgin Mary. Daria Woszek’s feature debut is a very original take on a very feminine theme and will delight especially those looking for something unorthodox in cinema.
